Feliz inicio de semana tengan toda mi gente hermosa de Hive, espero que su día vaya bien. Quiero contarles que en el mes de abril, recibí una grata sorpresa. Les cuento… El esposo de una amiga muy querida actualmente está trabajando en Carúpano, allí hay muchas playas y las personas en su mayoría se dedican a la pesca y actividades turísticas.
Happy start of the week have all my beautiful people of Hive, I hope your day is going well. I want to tell you that in the month of April, I received a pleasant surprise. I tell you... The husband of a very dear friend is currently working in Carúpano, there are many beaches there and the people are mostly engaged in fishing and tourist activities.
En uno de esos viajes a visitar a su familia aquí en Maturín, él trajo unos pescados los cuales fueron sacados por el mismo del mar. De esa pesca nosotros fuimos favorecidos, porque se nos obsequió una pequeña porción, algo que agradecimos a Dios y a ellos también.
In one of those trips to visit his family here in Maturin, he brought some fish which were taken by himself from the sea. From that catch we were favored, because we were given a small portion, something for which we thanked God and them as well.
A nosotros nos encanta comer pescado, y como han visto en mis post anteriores les he mostrado otras formas de prepararlos. En esta ocasión tenía el gran deseo de comerlo lo que llamamos aquí en nuestro país "sudadito" les explico … usamos ingredientes como el ajo, la cebolla, el cebollín y nunca puede faltar el ají.
We love to eat fish, and as you have seen in my previous posts I have shown you other ways to prepare them. This time I had the great desire to eat what we call here in our country "sudadito" I explain ... we use ingredients such as garlic, onion, chives and can never miss the chili.
Hacer esta preparación fue algo titánico porque aunque es algo sencillo en casa no contábamos con los ingredientes pero era tanto mi anhelo por comer el pescado así ya que se veía tan fresco, que hablamos con la vecina del frente y ella nos dio el limón y unos ajíes.
Making this preparation was something titanic because although it is something simple at home we did not have the ingredients but I was so eager to eat the fish like this because it looked so fresh, that we talked to the neighbor across the street and she gave us the lemon and some chili peppers.
Como ven en las imágenes mi esposo como siempre se encarga de lavarlo. Por cierto ese día estaba algo emocionado porque habían diferente tipo de pescados los cuales no sabíamos cómo se llamaban. Él también se encarga de colocarle la sal, el limón y en este caso el orégano chiquito y así se ven listo para cocinar.
As you can see in the pictures my husband, as always, was in charge of washing it. By the way that day he was a bit excited because there were different kinds of fish which we didn't know what they were called. He is also in charge of adding the salt, the lemon and in this case the small oregano, so they are ready to cook.
Del resto me cargué yo aunque recibí tambien la ayuda de mi hija Jeraldine para picar la cebolla y hacer las arepas. Como verán son unas arepitas bien elaboradas, redonditas, y bueno en esta ocasión fueron solo ellas las acompañantes de este atropellado pero exquisito guisado de pescado.
I took care of the rest, although I also received the help of my daughter Jeraldine to chop the onion and make the arepas. As you can see they are well prepared, round, and well, this time they were the only companions of this delicious fish stew.
Lo más importante de todo esto mis queridos lectores es que cuando uno tiene un deseo grande en su corazón de comer algo y recibimos la bendición de Dios, como en está ocasión que alguien te regale algo para que tú puedas cumplir ese anhelo, entonces no hay obstáculo que no podamos derribar para lograrlo.
The most important thing about all this my dear readers is that when you have a great desire in your heart to eat something and you receive God's blessing, as in this occasion that someone gives you something so that you can fulfill that desire, then there is no obstacle that we can't overcome to achieve it.
Este preparado fue una de las cosas más exquisitas que he podido comer de hecho la vecina del frente tuvo el placer de probarlo y mi hermana Elida, cuando le pregunté cómo había estado el pescado me dijo mi hermana "eso quedó exquisito" y bueno fue la misma percepción de mi parte de mi esposo y de mi hija así que aunque no hay platos bien servidos porque de la emoción olvidé tomar las fotos, quiero que sepan que esté pescado no solo cumplió mi deseo sino que alcanzó expectativas más grandes.
This preparation was one of the most exquisite things I have been able to eat, in fact the neighbor across the street had the pleasure of tasting it and my sister Elida, when I asked her how the fish was, my sister told me "it was exquisite" and well it was the same perception from my husband and my daughter, so although there are no well served dishes because of the emotion I forgot to take the pictures, I want you to know that this fish not only fulfilled my wish but it reached higher expectations.
Como siempre me tocó hacer un mensaje de agradecimiento a mi querida Yohanna y a su esposo por ese gesto tan hermoso y le hice ver que era un deseo que tenía y que ellos habían sido instrumento en las manos de Dios para yo poderlo cumplir; esto es otra cosa que quiero destacar: cuando le pedimos algo a Dios de corazón o él sabe el deseo de nuestro corazón no se sorprendan si eso viene de las manos de quienes ustedes a veces menos se lo imaginan, para Dios todo es posible.
As always I had to thank my dear Yohanna and her husband for such a beautiful gesture and I made her see that it was a wish I had and that they had been an instrument in God's hands for me to fulfill it; this is another thing I want to emphasize: when we ask God for something from the heart or he knows the desire of our heart do not be surprised if it comes from the hands of those who sometimes you least imagine, for God everything is possible.
