HAPPY PARENTS = HAPPY DAUGHTER

Hello everyone! This my entry on @zen-art 's happiness contest. It's so nice to be happy!!! :)

Our parents are our number fans and supporters in everything we do. They are the ones who first feel our victory in life. Our achievements make them feel happy and proud.

And as a daughter, it is my happiness to fulfill what they planned and wanted me to be.

Last year, I was able to give my parents the diploma they waited for 16 years. I finished my college degree and took the board exam the same year. I finished BS Medical Technology at Far Eastern University. Getting that additional 3 letters in my name (RMT) really made my parents happy.

My father is working abroad and i really know how he sacrificed for us, just to send us in a good school. Working abroad is not a big joke. The distance, new environment and the feeling of loneliness really sucks, but my father is such a strong man and i really adore him because of that.

He went abroad when i was in first year college, even if he wasn't able to see me and look after me while im in college, i always felt his support, love and care miles miles miles away. That's why when im already on my last semester in college, i felt my dad's happiness and fulfillment as a father. I love him so much. And i really cant wait to see him when he goes back here in the Philippines!!! He left me in the Philippines as a little and simple student, but when God's time has already come, he will finally see his daughter as a professional one.

"Behind every great man is a great woman" - (Proverb)

Without my mother, i really dont know what to do. My mother has been my great source of motivation in life. She's my partner in everything i do. She's my best best bestfriend! A good keeper and listener. She's the one who saw my struggle in college life. That's why, when she knew that my name was on the graduating list, i felt her excitement as a mother. She always asked me what i wanted to eat and where i wanted to go, because she wanted me to feel that i deserve some chill because college life was really a roller coaster ride for me. She may be the only one here for me physically, but i also felt the happiness of my father for me.

Fast forward to the board exam results day....

While waiting for the result, my mother asked me to go out and have some quality time, so i could feel relaxed and calm down. We went to a salon and had a haircut, manicure and pedicure. We got home at around 7 in the evening and the results were not yet out. So we patiently waited. We have a family groupchat, and that's where we talked about the result. Aside from waiting for the result, we also waited for my father to go online. The list of the passers for the board exam of Medical Technologists were released at around 8 in the evening. I was scrolling through my phone, and saw a message popped on my screen that i passed the exam. At first, i dont want to believe them until i see it on my own. I clicked the link of the passers, and find my name. When i finally saw my name, i really cried so hard and hugged my mother.

My parents posted a tarpaulin for me as fast as the speed of light. (It is still posted until now...haha)

I really felt so happy that i finally got what my parents want me to have and i can finally bring back all the hardships and sacrifices they have done for me. I really felt so much blessed... all those sleepless nights during my college and reviews days had already paid off. Im currently working now, and continue giving happiness to my parents. All of my achievements are for my parents and of course to the Man above, who never gave up on me. All glory to God!

SIMPLY SEEING MY PARENTS HAPPY IS THE MEANING OF HAPPINESS FOR ME
