Game of Thrones Season 8 ramble

There will be Spoilers

I know I am not the only one for who Season 8 of Game of Thrones is not working as much as the seasons before.

Is not enough happening? Is too much happening? Too many death or not enough? That Arya finds a horse in a city which just got destroyed and with destroyed I mean that the scene makes it look like only she and the horse send from the heavens survived.

I cant really put my finger on what I dont like about this season. Maybe I am just mad it is the last season?

By no means I want to say it is bad. In my opinion it is still one of the greatest TV shows ever made and it held its very high standard till now.

But some questions are so far still unanswered.

WTF was Bran doing in the battle with the night king? I tell you what, he was fucking sleeping. I am not the sharpest knive in the kitchen but I know when a dude is taking a nap.

"You are a good man Theon but I need my 8 hours of sleep. Good night, sleep tight, dont let the bed bugs bite"

What was that 3 eyed raven stuff then anyway? He could not keep his mouth shut about it. Because he gave Arya the dagger?

And then Arya jumps out of nowhere to kill the Nightking and seemingly he was the head vampire and all of his goons die as well....

Actually I would have found it very interesting if the Nightking would have won and the last episodes would have been more about him and how he conquers the world.

It also felt weird that this built up we had in all the years and seasons before finds its climax in the middle of a season.

And even the death of the Nighking felt somehow unsatisfying.

Especially after the last episode where the hound and the mountain have this epic battle.

Episode 5 was somehow strange anyway. Just 1 episode before the second dragon dies by getting sucker shot and unable to dodge anything after the first hit but the last dragon turns into a parkour pro and dodges everything...actually it felt like they shot at him 2 times so there was not this much to do anyway.

After another super unsatisfying death of the biggest bitch I have ever seen on TV

we can assume the final bad guy will be the breaker of chains herself

This spin I have to say I kind of like as I think it was kind of not too predictible but if you look back it makes sense as she always got pretty mad at people who would not bend the knee or questioned her authority.

And we could see in the last couple of episodes how her unsecurity grows as she got competition for her thron, which looks super uncomfortable anyway by the way.

But that she goes full rampage on the civilians...was a bit out of charakter even if she wants them to rebel but Tyrion gave her good reasons imo why they cant...

I am looking forward to see the last episode and which charakters will make their final appearance.

Cutthroat Bronn still wants to get paid...Will the fresh knight Brienne of Tarth turn into a sex addict now?

We will know more in a week
