In the modern era as now, not a few people who still believe in the curse. But many also consider it just a figment in a fairy tale.
Actually, the concept of karma has been known since time immemorial. In fact, since the spread of Hinduism and Buddhism. Karma itself comes from Sanskrit. 'Karman' which means action and 'Pali' which means action.
Talking about karma, as well as discussing about action and reactions. Concretely an action will produce an effect in itself.
Where did the effect come from? Of course the answer from self. Simply put, karma means a consequence received because of the behavior or deeds of the man himself.
The result or fruit of the action is called karmaphala.
There is something about karma with something bad. Also not a few who believe, that karma is a reward for the actions of someone in the past. For example, a man who captured his own friend's lover is believed to have a similar incident in the future.
However, not all karma was bitter fruit. Proverbial, if planting the seed of good will certainly get a sweet fruit in the future.
If you do good then the reward is worth the deed. Selfless help is one example of the sweet fruit.
Good karma is not quickly felt, but someday there will come a time when happiness comes. Origin sincere in helping, deft in working and earnest in doing the job.
