I've written a bit about our trip to Nicaragua in two different posts, but I have much more to share coming soon.
This sunset was taken from the "drug lord's" home we rented. We called it that because we couldn't believe how nice it was considering we rented it so cheaply.
It had 24 hour armed guards (whom we fed well all week, constantly bringing them snacks and drinks). We felt bad for them because they worked 20 hour shifts! They did this for two days and were then off for two days. Seemed crazy to us. It also had a beautiful swimming pool and three very swanky bedrooms and it's own lighthouse tower attached to the house. We rented it for 10 days complete with a cook that prepared every meal for $1,700 total for all 6 of us.
The shoreline here was incredible with lots of volcanic rocks, etc lining the beach which created a great environment to spot sea creatures.
Captured with a Sony Nex5 camera with default lens.
Hope you enjoyed the photo.
