The Gate of Inaction is about staying still and inactive, thus through stillness being able to concentrate on one particular thing. People with Gate 52 can be still and quiet for long periods of time. It needs Gate 9 to utilize this concentration, otherwise 52 stands still without any focus, having concentration without direction. This lack of concentration can be expressed by sitting on a couch for hours without doing or planning anything. With the support of Gate 9 this becomes a highly creative energy that enables us to focus on the goal, hold our sight, wait in stillness until the timing is right, and then take appropriate actions. Gate 52, despite being in the Root Center, does not put pressure but rather causes tension for remaining still regardless the circumstances.
