Es ist soweit, das erste @fundition Shirt ist fertig, gemacht für die liebe @addicttolife! Wieso steht in der Überschrift "charity" fragt ihr euch? Von jeder Bestellung gehen 2€ an @steemarity, dieser Account unterstützt hilfsbedürftige Menschen oder Organisationen mit Geld. So auch bei dieser Bestellung:

Die 2€ berechne ich immer dann zum aktuellen Kurs, wenn der Käufer seine Bestellung bezahlt hat. So kann es natürlich passieren dass die Steem im Kurs sinken, aber eben auch dass sie im Kurs steigen, worauf ich natürlich hoffe.

Jedenfalls habe ich bei der Erstellung dieses Shirts wieder Bilder gemacht, die ich nun mit euch teilen möchte!

Nachdem die Schrift aufgezeichnet ist, geht es auch schon mit den Outlines los. Dieser Schritt ist für die Stabilität wichtig und dass man später beim Ausfüllen genauer arbeiten kann. Hier ist es nicht so wichtig dass es gleichmäßig und genau ist, es geht nur darum, dass die Form einigermaßen passt denn: Nachher ist das, was ihr hier seht alles unsichtbar - um genauer zu sein wird das, was ich "ausfüllen" nenne dann darüber gestickt.

So sahen dann die fertigen Outlines aus:

Nun geht es ans Ausfüllen. Dabei stickt man immer von der einen zur anderen Seite. Das dauert ziemlich lange weil man da schon an die 100x über einen Buchstaben sticken muss, bis er komplett ausgefüllt ist. Fehler darf man sich hierbei nicht erlauben.

Falls ihr euch schon mal gefragt habt, wie eine Stickerrei von hinten aussieht, hier könnt ihr es sehen. Die sehen ziemlich ähnlich aus wie vorne, nur dass dort eben noch die Knoten sind. Bei weißen Shirts habe ich oft das Problem, dass sie ziemlich locker sind und der Stoff ziemlich dünn, deshalb habe ich die Stickerrei hinten mit Stoffkleber fixiert. Das sieht jetzt total schlimm aus ABER: Nach dem trocknen ist er unsichtbar. Es ist jetzt einfach etwas härter, sollte beim tragen aber nicht stören. Jetzt löst sich Fundition sicher nicht mehr vom T-Shirt ;)

The time has come, the first @fundition shirt is ready, made for the dear @addicttolife!
Why do you read "charity" in the headline? Because from every order 2€ goes to @steemarity, this account supports needy people or organizations with money. This also applies to this order:

I always charge the 2€ at the current rate when the buyer has paid for his order. Of course it can happen that the Steem falls in price, but also it can rise in price, which I hope for of course.

Anyway, when I made this shirt I took pictures again, which I would like to share with you now!

After the font has been drawn, the Outlines begin. This step is important for stability and you can work more accurately later when filling in the embroidery. Here it's not so important that it's even and accurate, it's just about the shape fitting: After, what you see here is all invisible - to be more precise, what I call "fill in" is then embroidered over it.

This was what the finished outlines looked like:

Now it's time to fill in the embroidery. You always embroider from one side to the other. This takes quite a long time because you have to embroider about 100 times over a letter until it is completely filled in. Errors cannot be allowed here.

If you have ever wondered what an embroidery looks like from behind, you can see it here. They look pretty similar to the ones in front, only there are the knots. With white shirts I often have the problem that they are quite loose and the fabric is quite thin, so I secured the embroidery on the back with fabric glue. This looks totally bad BUT: after drying it is invisible. It's just a bit harder now, but shouldn't bother wearing it. Now Fundition certainly won't come off the T-shirt ;)
