Football is the most popular sport in the world. FIFA estimates that a staggering 265 million people – men and women – play football worldwide, and a staggering 3.5 billion consider themselves football fans.
With this in mind we think we have the perfect platform for the football fan to come online and post their opinion on football topics, news , results, whether it is the English Premiership or Serie A, La Liga or even if you are a supporter in the lower leagues. Everyone has an opinion and we want to hear your voice.
So if you are writing a football piece on your Hive blog why not add the tag #football #soccer #footie #footiefanzone which will appear in our community. The goal is that to grow the community and drip feed new additions as we gain strength.
Some of the goals are to tokenise our community in line with some of the other Communities but we want to spend time planning this in the correct manner rather than go head long into anything.
There are crypto tokens already in Football such as the popular Chiliz token who have partnered up with largest clubs in the world such as Barcelona, PSG and Juventus so that fans have a vote on smaller aspects of a football club. You now see crypto like Tezos sponsoring Manchester United training kit so crypto is coming into football in a big way.
The aim of the community is to also onboard new members into Hive as it would be easier for person to write about their passion. Most football bloggers do not even make any money so this would be a motivation for them to log onto the Hive Platform.
So there we have it. The seed is sown. When better to kick off than an international break but we gotta start sometime!!
The aim of this Community is to be interactive with each other. We are always on Whatsapp to our friends when their team gets beaten. We want this to happen here.
However we would like decent content here and post with a few words underneath it does not cut it. Plagiarism will not be tolerated. Also it is hard to find a non copyrighted football photo so be careful with your sources.
