Chicharron
Hiya Everyone! Tori here! Today, I'll be showcasing chicharron which is a popular dish here in the Philippines. Chicharron is widely seen in Latin countries, it is also popular in previously colonized Asian countries such as the Philippines. It is pork rind (can also be intestines or pork belly) that is seasoned and deep-fried. It is salty and is usually served with vinegar and any other sour dips. Chicharron is usually considered as a comfort food since so many people love crunchy food and it warms their heart eating one. You should definitely try it on your cheat day (it is a fat-rich food so don't try to go overboard).
