Eating in Sydney: Shenkin Eatery

Shenkin is an Israeli eatery in Sydney. I have never tried Israeli food before so I was happy to eat something different. The service was friendly and efficient. The interior decoration was rustic.

Mushroom and potato bureka. The sauce was delicious. Not too heavy or creamy. I enjoyed this dish.

Shakshuka with eggplant and halloumi. The sauce base is made of capsicum, tomato, garlic and spices, slow cooked for seven hours. It came with poached eggs and fresh pita on the side. My dad liked the dish.
