Maryam bread

Bread canai is a kind of flatbread with Indian influence, which is found in Indonesia and Malaysia. This bread can be found in Malaysian mamak outlets or at Aceh's restaurants in Indonesia. In Singapore, this kind of bread is named after prata. The shape and the material are similar to porotta kerala. This bread is very flat because it is made by turning thin, then folded and baked with oil, or it could be by spreading the dough as thin as possible on the grill.

In Indonesia, rolled bread is served with goat or lamb curry.
