The Breakfast of Champions

I love making food mostly because I love eating food that tastes awesome. Therefore I have never been on a diet and if it is ever needed I will try anything to avoid eating food that is not enjoyable. I'm not saying I generally eat junk since healthy foods also taste good. I just love to enjoy my food.

I work freelance from home while finishing my studies and one of the perks is that I have time to make awesome breakfasts. At 12 pm when I finally find myself ravenous the inspiration kicks in and I felt I had to share my breakfast from this morning with you so that you can also make this easy and simple twist to the usual bacon and eggs.

I'm a pro at getting rid of those ingredients that will just lie in the fridge forever and use them to add to something simple to create something awesome. This breakfast is nothing special, but it's really easy and taste great and is basically just bacon and eggs on a bun. It is therefore worth a try as anybody can make it.

Method
So what I did was fry up some bacon. I use streaky bacon as it becomes nice and crispy when fried. Then I chopped up some mushrooms and fried them up after the bacon. Then I scrambled some eggs and as soon as the eggs were ready in the pan, threw some grated cheese (I prefer white cheddar) onto the eggs and mixed it into the eggs until melted. I then take a bun and cut it in half and toast it. Then the stacking starts. I put some grated cheese at the bottom. Then comes the bacon with the mushroom on top. Lastly, I add the awesome cheesy egg and voila. It is ready to be stuffed in your face.
