i everyone, i used my oven after months of not using it...funny thing is it still works! today i made something like a pastaless lasagna or crustless quiche...call it what u want heres whats in mine today
5 large/med thinly sliced potatos
2 very large mushrooms...i used regular but u can use any sort
1 tomato
1/2 pound of thinly sliced ham...delicatessen sort of your fave, mine was honey cured
9 med sliced swiss cheese
4 eggs ...varries as how big a dish or how much you want to serve
1/2 cup milk
handfull shredded cheddar cheese for topping
1 tablespoon garlic.... if u like add more
salt pepper to taste
egg mixture:
add eggs milk and spices and mix together, put to side
to construct
grease pan with butter or spray i used 9x9 pyrex pan
bottom layer is potato..cover bottom do not overlap
then add sliced mushrooms for next layer
pour 1/4 egg mixtuer atop first few layers...this will help bind them.
add sliced meat (cut into strips) for a layer then swiss
repeat the above like your making lasagna till you get to final layer
add tomato to top layer and cover with cheddar cheese
put in oven on 350f for 45 mins depending on thickness
serve warm and enjoy
