HOW TO PREPARE GROUNDNUT SOUP

My favourite soup is the groundnut soup.common amongst delta region,rivers and cross rivers state. This soup can be taken with Eba,I prefer one made with the yellow garri. It also can be taken with pounded yam,fufu generally whatever form of swallow aw we call them.
Briefly I will teach how to prepare this delicious soup.
As the name curtails, Groundnut is a necessary and major ingredient of the soup
OTHER INGREDIENTS INCLUDE:-
1.vegetable leave
2.pumpkin leave
3.uziza leave
4.seasonings I.e salt,and maggi
5.meat
6.ponmo
7.dry fish
8.stock fish

  1. Palm oil
    10.onions
    11.pepper.

STEPS:-

  1. Pour your palm oil into the pot.let it get heated for a while,pour in sliced onions and pepper.
  2. While this is frying,put in your grounded groundnut and stir.at this point,reduce the heat so it doesn't burn,then add your spices after which you will also put in your meat,fish as they should have been boiled. Add the water ...
  3. Allow these simmer for a while.when you are satisfied with its simmering,add in your vegetables after they have been washed properly.
  4. Allow simmer again and TA DAH food is ready
  5. Serve hot with whatever swallow you prefer image
