As I scroll at Steemit, I notice that there are Steemians who posts about food. So I am trying to make my own too :).
Today I am going to share with you a Filipino dish called Champorado. Champorado is a chocolate rice porridge. This time I am putting a simple twist on it. It was breakfast time and I want to eat something sweet. So I decided to cook dish Filipino dish. But I am really starving and I want to have Champorado Quickly. I remember that we have instant oatmeal. I experimented with it. Instead of using rice which is the main ingredients of Champorado, I decided to use Instant Oat Meal.
The Result is the same. I am going to share with you how I cooked it
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup instant oatmeal
- 1 cup milk ( I used fresh milk )
- half cup sugar ( measurement subject to change according to your taste)
- two tables spoon instant Cocoa powder
METHODOLOGY
- Put a pot on the stove with 6 glasses of water
- When the water is boiling stir in the oatmeal
- Don't stop stirring to avoid the settling of oatmeal at the bottom of the pot
- When the mixture is in good consistency, add the cocoa powder.
- Mix until the cocoa is well blended
- Pour in sugar and milk
- Ready to serve
