Did you know that you can find your luck in a lilac bush? Here in Latvia we have a super cute superstition, that if you find a lilac flower with more than 4 petals (here I'm talking about the most regular lilac, that has 4 petals, not those awesome hybrids where each flowers is a petal explosion) you have to make a wish and eat that flower. 🙂
As a kid I have spent quite a lot of time looking for lucky flowers and also now as an adult every time I walk past by lilac I can't resist doing the same.
