Alana, a recently single mother travels to her secluded lakeside holiday home with her baby boy, Bowen. She is a dance choreographer and hopes that some time away from the city, in nature will help to inspire her.
One day, Alana and Bowen are walking through the nearby woods when young Bowen finds a strange, small fairy like creature. Alana takes the mysterious creature back to the house so her neighbour can identify it. Her neighbour, Peter tells her it is a bat, not entirely convinced she puts the creature in the bin.
Some breastmilk then gets knocked over and spills in to the bin, which reawakens the fairy.
Out of sight, the fairy grows as does its thirst for milk as it begins stalking Alana and baby Bowen...
This is a high quality short film, with all aspects of the film making process being professionally well made. It is intense, creepy, atmospheric but mostly enjoyable. Highly recommended.
