Fast Start to Affiliate Marketing Profits review
Affiliate marketing is probably the quickest way to start getting an income from your internet marketing. You could be up and running today if you put your mind to it. You could probably even get some visits to your website today – Tweet and generally brag about your new affiliate website. And maybe one of those visits will earn you an affiliate commission. OK, those are bold claims. But, unlike the push button, hype laden sales letters we so often see in internet marketing, there’s nothing complicated or difficult about what you need to do. And I’ll explain everything in the 7 short videos in this fast start to affiliate marketing. The videos are short and to the point. I suggest that you watch each one in turn and put it into action as soon as you’ve watched it. Which is probably different from how you normally tackle these things. Most people who I speak with in internet marketing buy a product, maybe watch the first one or two videos in the series or read the first few pages in the report. Then they put it aside for later. And – much like a teenager saying “later” – that really means never in this lifetime. If that’s you – if you’re in charge of Procrastination Central – make this purchase different.
Video 1: Introduction – watch this even if you think you know what you’re doing.
Video 2: Choosing your niche. Watch this and then set aside between 5 & 15 minutes (maximum) to research between one and three niches.
Video 3: Finding affiliate programs. Watch this and then block out between 10 and 20 minutes to do the necessary research and apply for any programs you find – or put them in a document ready to apply if they want to know your website url, then come back to them a bit later in the process.
Video 4: Setting up your website. Decide on a domain name, get it through Namecheap, point it to your hosting, set up WordPress.
Video 5: Creating content for your website. Allow about 10 minutes to create a headline, another 10 minutes to write some sub headings. Then type out a few paragraphs on each sub heading as though you were explaining them to a friend. After an hour or so, you should have enough content to press “publish” – so publish! You can always amend or increase the content later.
Video 6: Creating videos. After watching this video, fire up PowerPoint or LibreOffice (free), type out your slides or bullet points, open up any necessary browser windows if you’re going to show any websites, open up Screencast-o-matic (free or cheap), press Record, pause at any stage if necessary, save and render to MP4 video, upload to YouTube, publish.
Video 7: promoting your website. Watch this video then go to your first pieces of content – the one on your website and the video you’ve recorded – and press the Tweet and other buttons to promote.
Don’t be fooled by the apparent simplicity of the techniques discussed.
When you follow through on all the points, you’ll be further ahead than at least 95% of your competition.
And when you apply them consistently, you’ll start seeing affiliate commissions.
