On my date with you, I still remember how I felt. It was something amazing that had happened to me. You picked me up from my place dressed in casual clothes and was a beautiful sight to see. My eyes were drawn to every small detail of you. It was a great sight. You held my hand and caught me up when I tripped on the stairs. You giggled as I explained why I had tripped. You told me I looked so cute when I said it. You tried not to laugh but to your misfortune, you giggled. I was taken completely off guard by the way you managed to make me smile.
We continued the date with such a nice ambiance and close fun. We talked about everything and the time seemed to go so fast. We talked non-stop the whole time and I have to say it was the most peaceful day of my life. Before I knew it, it was over. It was only a glimpse of a memory but I cherish it. The highlight of my life. It was going to be a date from the past.
You seemed so much more relaxed as compared to our chaperoned date and that made me feel even more at ease. The room was filled with the wonderful sounds of the floating about of air conditioning and the floor was so cushy that I could not feel that it's a hard wood floor. We were seated on the old and green couch beside the window. You gave me your full attention about my endless stories. You laughed so hard it made me laugh and I was surprised how we both go along like how we do. It felt like you were truly interested in whatever I was telling you. I was still floating from the high that the first date brought me.
You placed your drink on the table and turned to face me. You leaned forward to me and gave me a kiss on my cheek. You whispered that you love me and for some reason, it made me feel lightheaded. I was feeling so sure of it by yourself just smiling and saying you loved me. I looked up at you and I thought of what my life would be like if you were with me. It was a thought that I had a long time ago. I was feeling an energy alone with you.
I was not aware of the time passing by. Until we heard someone knocking on the door. You went to answer the door and somehow when you opened it, the entire room got cold. It was like someone turned the air dryer that was not connected to anything.
We both looked at each other with a big look of shock. I know I know, it was an ambiance that was not expected at all. The smell instantly reminded me of what had happened. I instantly got dizzy and my sight faded
