# My dially @Trip to Kelor Cipir island. #eps. 2

Trip this time is in order to accompany my friend, Yoe, who is saturated with the affairs of the office and is really needed for the holidays. We plan to travel not far from Jakarta and it will not take long. One of the highlights is a 3-day trip around the island that includes nature, history, and culture. There are many travel that offer this trip with affordable price and after finding out in various travels, finally we decided to participate in triple island. The price offered is quite cheap, only 89ribu including the ship from Muara Kamal to round the island, entrance ticket, lunch, pin, and guide on Onrust Island. Mimin is also really cool to be questioned about the route to the meeting point at Muara Kamal, knowing I have never been to the port of kamal estuary.

That night coincidentally coincided with the Jakarta Marathon event which blocked most of Jakarta's protocol roads from early morning until noon, several busway corridors temporarily closed. I should just have to take the train from Depok to Juanda station and then ride Transjakarta from Juanda shelter toward Kalideres to then continue ride omprengan car to Muara Kamal Port.

But because the busway line of the harbor-harmony was closed, I was forced to look for other alternatives that made the journey longer and rouds. I rode the KRL to Kalibata station and then went up kopaja 57 PGC direction to take the busway to Tomang direction. Yoe had arrived earlier and waited at the Rawa Buaya stop. Once we got to the Rawa Buaya shelter, we went directly by omprengan car to Muara Kamal Port. This omprengan car is a car deer or espas with the route Rawa Buaya-Muara Kamal. Already late because it must pass through the route muter-muter, omprengan car that also had ngetem long, as a result we were late to reach the Port of Muara Kamal. Thank goodness miminnya kind enough to wait for me and Yoe, coincidentally they are also waiting for catering for our lunch later.

Before crossing the island, we gathered first at a mosque near the harbor. When compared with Muara Angke Port, Muara Kamal Port size is smaller. Perhaps more precisely if Muara Kamal is practically a fishing village because of its location adjacent to the homes of citizens who work as fishermen. Even as we walked from the mosque to the ship, we passed several houses floating on the seafront.

Around 9 am, all the trip participants were collected and handed out a pin of a roadman. then we are divided into 3 groups each consisting of about 20 people. Each entourage will use one fishing boat with one person guide. The ship is big enough and comfortable for 20 people. The back is quite wide with a kind of hall that has a roof. Our first destination is Kelor Island, a back island that became famous for being the wedding venue of Rio Dewanto & Atiqah Hasiholan's artist couple. The journey from Muara Kamal harbor to Kelor Island is quite fast, only about an hour's drive.

The clock showed at 10 o'clock when we arrived, the sun was hot enough, but it did not prevent us from taking pictures on this pretty island that owned this Martello Fort. Martello castle located in Kelor Island is still quite intact though there are some parts that have been damaged. The fort is made of hard and thick red brick. In contrast to the stone that is now used to make the house, this brick looks still quite strong and sturdy despite being aged about a century. Before returning from Kelor Island, I take this photos.

The journey continues to Onrust Island which is only about 15 minutes. It was noon when it arrived, so we decided to have lunch and pray first before continuing around the island. After the ishoma, we were guided by a guide to tour the island of Onrust which is also famous as a historic island because once used as a political prisoner island.

First we went around to a museum. Here we can see a little picture of the condition of the island as a prison island. Apparently, this island has also been a place of departure of pilgrims (embarkation) of Indonesia to Saudi Arabia through the sea in the Dutch colonial period.

Here still can be found the remains of the ruins of the barracks haj boarding house. In the area behind the museum there is a replica of prison and arena of complaints of prisoners (prisoners pitted for a fight). On the other side of the island there are the tombs of the Dutch who once lived on the island of Onrust and some tombs of political prisoners such as Kartosuwiryo.

At about 1 pm, we left for our last destination island, namely Cipir Island which is still adjacent to Onrust and Kelor. Historically, during the Dutch colonial period on this island there are ruins of hospital buildings quarantine contagious diseases and has also become a hospital quarantine Hajj. During the Japanese occupation, the island was once the place of execution. In addition to having a fairly dark side of history, Cipir Island has a beach side is quite beautiful. Some people from our group took time to swim and take pictures on the rocks on the beach. While I and Yoe are few of the people who choose to sit by the beach while enjoying the breeze of baskets that blows on the Island. A great atmosphere for sharing or sharing with friends :)

After the photo together (and we always photograph together each will leave an island, hehe), we went back to Muara Kamal Port. A one-day trip around the 3 islands is very fun and adds insight. If you are bored with the hustle and bustle of Jakarta city or daily routine, maybe join this trip could be an option to refresh the mind: D
