Star fruit (also known as starfruit, belimbing reed, belimbing bottle, starfruit, or starfruit) is a small tree that is thought to have originated from the Maluku Islands, and is bred and grows freely in Indonesia, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Myanmar and Malaysia. This plant is usually planted in the yard to take fruit that has a sour taste that is often used as a spice cooking and mixture of herbs.
