Cassuary

Dear steemians, how are you to afternoon?
Have you ever seen a cassowary? of course you often see it. Need. You know that the cassowary has two, the first has a large body and the second has a dwarf body. Pygmy Cassowary with the Latin name Casuarius bennetti is the smallest cassowary. Although the name is dwarf, this endemic bird in Papua is still quite giant because it has a height of up to 1 meter. Maybe you often see it in zoos around the city where you live.

In general, pygmy casuari remains a big bird. Only slightly smaller when compared to two other cassowary species that are often found in the mountains.

Cassowary birds that we often encounter include Casuary Gelambir which has the Latin name Casuarius casuariu. This type of cassowary is sometimes also referred to as Moruk or Mount Kasuari which is commonly found in the forests of Indonesian Papua.

Then the characteristics of the Pygmy Kasuary with the Latin name Casuarius bennetti are known by the characteristic part of the drum that does not hang on the head.

And the characteristic shape of the triangular horn has a flat back. Its height reaches 1.1 meters with a length of up to 150 and an adult cassowary body weight between 17 to 26 kg for adult Casuary birds. Those are some of the characteristics of the Casuary Bird that once existed in the animal world. So hopefully it's useful.
