Rumbia fruit has the scientific name Metroxylon sagu. Rumbia fruit is also commonly called the sago tree, this sago tree which is a type of palm sago flour producing. These Rumbia trees usually grow in swamps or fresh water, or in rivers and in lowland forests to an altitude of about 700 meters above sea level.
Rumbia trees are most commonly found in the forests of Kalimantan. The fruit is round and scaly, almost similar to bark, but the segment is larger. The fruit also contains seeds and its weight is light.
