DataJunky | GenerEOS writes about how voting process can be improved:

“As proxies, I feel it's important that we all get together on this and create a proposal to increase our voting diversity. If there are any objections to increasing the number of BP's that we can vote for, I'd love to hear them. We gotta get a proposal together for voting in more BP's / token. This limitation of 30 bp's isn't cutting it for me. I know the number 50 has been passed around, but why not every paid BP position that is available instead? What if any unused votes are randomly used to select random bp's to increase diversity randomly, and prevent minimum whale vote hoarding and circle jerk vote buying. If you increase it to 50 lets say, and I only vote for 10 because I'm too lazy too uninformed, too tired and busy, or i'm a whale with 9 friends and puppets.. the other 40 would get a randomized selection. It would sure incentivise the informed voters to be more selective with their 50, and probably in a weird randomized way satisfy the community that can't be bothered. It would be completely random yes, so it would satisfy the standby's with active duty at times, which may or may not be a great idea. I know it's not the best proposal, and might be a tough sell, but maybe not too tough given the current situation we face and the standard in society. If a BP is compliant, they can participate in the random voting. Non compliance should disqualify them. This would work.”
