I had a great time talking with Max Gravitt, @gravitt12, of DigitalScarcity.io. We discussed his latest project http://EOSNames.net which is an $EOS account marketplace run completely on the #blockchain

voluntier to deploy and test in kylin/jungle?

Rex is working and could be deployed so long as voting with lent tokens isn’t needed”
Ben Mason:
Is there a list of eos api nodes somewhere please? Eoscalgary.io appears to be down....
Roger Davies - EOSUK.io 🇬🇧
Hi Ben, we modified the SimplEOS wallet (with their written permisison of course) to include an API end point selector on the front end which also let's you type in a node address.
This can be used to 'test' BPs nodes which can be found from their json files as you know. It would be great if there was a simple list of them all somewhere though, there probably is.
Anyone?
I was going to do a video on this re the fake BPs but just not enough hours in the day to do everything we want to do (until I can find my replicator!)
Wallet link is https://github.com/eos-uk/EOS-Wallet/releases
Hope that helps, we're aboutot jump in the car for roadtrip to London so got to go now, can't wait to see everyone, DM me if you're gonna be there and want to meet

We are going to officially release this later on in the week, but you can try it out now: https://eosnode.tools/proxy
We constantly monitor all the top APIs for availability, performance and track this from 7 geographic regions - you can send queries to our proxy API in the exact same way you would to any EOS API node and we will tunnel the request to the best node at that point in time. We hope this will become an integral part of the dApp developer toolset, and it should help spread queries to more BPs who have great infrastructure but might not be chosen due to their position in the voting list

Just saw this....
If the document is real, this requires a massive concerted effort to ensure the BPs involved cannot do business on EOS as a paid contributor. Can’t tolerate BPs like this...

Ben Mason:
This is the real test for this community. Our response must be decisive and immediate to permanently remove those involved from paid or responsible positions within the EOS community....certainly kicked from BP role. If we can’t manage that, then a hard fork is the only option with all BPs and voters involved left behind.
anyx — TeamGreymass:
Notably, if this allegation is true, invoking on-chain governance (e.g. violation of vote buying — as a trade is a barter purchase) is not an option here.
The allegated sphere of influence is byzantine.

thoughtful disagreement welcome as always.
Thought was why would a BP with 800(ish) voters in Top 21 support any change.
That would see they getting less of distribution
I don't think we are going to pass any referendums, so 15/21 will have to start making any decisions which are needed.
But it's a 2019 problem
Adrianna Mendez | Cypherglass:
I feel like we have bigger issues before we can start talking about redistribution. We’re not giving token holders a lot of faith by messing with the pay before we give them on chain voting to tell us how they feel (I digress)
Katie | @eosasia | myeoskit.com
We elected the representatives and the representatives make decisions as knowledgeable representatives. I am very comfortable with this.

once we have identity layer, can't we change the vote weight from token amount to amount of unique ID votes?
Josh Kauffman - EOS Canada 🇨🇦
yes but identity needs to be put out and adopted first. This is no easy feat. Yes, I know, people will chime in here about how Dan says he's solved this. But no one's been able to see it, so we don't know that. And it runs on Apple devices. So we have an identity solution only for those who have Apple devices? We should consider those things when we have them, not wait until we have them, hope they fulfill the need that we already knew we had, and try to make them work together.

aloha all you wonderful blockchain warriors. I wanted to just ask anyone if they would like to begin a discussion on multi-threaded transactions and potentially using a sidechain with DHT sharding post quantum pieces of an agent-centric ledger. It’s BFT as fuck yo! Lol we talking post quantum cryptography with advanced lattice structure compression algorithms. Users authentication through biometric algorithms to relay voice recognition with 92% accuracy. I want to take eos to the next level but what if it doesn’t need BP for voting? What if core nodes reached out To side chain node sharing bp taxation? Up to 5% per annum distributed to more then 21 BP. Voting more distributed and potentially on side chain completely! Free up. Jah bless! Bless up Blap blap blap

you have the correct interpretation of the REX's goals: lend tokens for profit, retain voting rights. More succinctly, holders need avenues to profit from staking (and voting). Voting as-is will cost you ~5.8% of your value per year due to inflation, thats a problem. We want rational actors to vote but, thats not the incentive structure at this time.
Is anyone calculating a metric of representation of stake among the elected BPs publically? By this I mean, each token is tied to an account which could have 0-21 of its voted-for BPs in the elected set, so that token would have something like a value of 0-21 tied to it or maybe even binary and we could analyse that as a measure of whether that stake has representation in the governance of the chain. Its not hard to get but, I don't want to duplicate efforts
