Elvis Presley..sigh (say WHO)

I was a huge fan of Elvis and in the 1970s we were 21 and 19 and headed for Las Vegas to see him in concert. We were staying at the famous Las Vegas Hilton where he performed. We were nearing our departure when we found out that Elvis was not going to be there and instead we had Tom Jones tickets. Talk about a letdown.

..Sis and I travel everywhere together and have had some exciting and incredible times. One of those was our weekend at the then Washington Plaza, downtown Seattle. We use to go and treat ourselves to a nice hotel and shopping when we were young. I remember that Elvis was performing that weekend and I heard that he used to stay at this same hotel. I went to ask the front desk if he was staying there, the woman replied, I cannot divulge that information. We walked away and were told not to go in the partitioned area in the back. I looked at sis and said, OMG he is staying here she basically said it (lol).

We walked around to the part we were not supposed to go. I looked up at the back door and this gorgeous pilot came in dressed in baby blue uniform, hat and all, jet black hair and incredible blue eyes, tall and gorgeous. As he passed me he gave me this beautiful smile.

Later on we walked around in the lobby again and passed a foliage with a bar and I heard, Hey Elvis, how do you like those girls, asked a male voice. Elvis answered, not bad, not bad at all and laughed that famous laugh. I said, sis did you hear that, that is Elvis in there but were shy and his comment was about us two (lol). .AND YES, that was him in that baby blue uniform using a disguise.

All I can say, I wish there were more men that looked and smiled like him.
