Hello my dear, Hivers! How's your Monday been? I hope everyone is still carrying the burning desire to do what you want to achieve this week. I hope you all will remember to never let external distractions hinder you from accomplishing things you set for yourselves. Anyway, the blog that I'm going to share today is another Week in the Life of me being a Marketing Intern. I had published the first week update you can read it here A Week in the Life of a Real Estate Marketing Intern: Week 1 Chronicles and now, I'm excited to share to you all my happenings on my Week 2.
WORK MODE IS ON....
This time we were tasked to do some edits and of course, our go-to-edits —CANVA. I'm still learning to use it but I guess the more you know how it works, you'll be surprised how easy it is to navigate. Some of us were also researching more about Real Estate. We are making the steps to understand the realm of the industry so that we can be a better real estate marketer. It's a little challenging as there are a lot of terms and technicalities to familiarize with but I still believe that with our strong will to learn, we'll get the hang of it in a few months.
As I have mentioned on Week 1, aside from the real estate company, our supervisor also has a segment on a radio program so this time, we worked on updating his Facebook page. After the updates, we were finally able to upload the reels that we've been working on in the last few days. As marketers, we did our best to share it on different social media platforms and invite our friends to like and share the page to increase its reach and engagement. As of the moment, I think our strategy works. The page is close to 100 followers, let's see how many it gets in the coming days.
Me and my co-interns in our work mode era. We were checking the new reel we posted on the company's official page. We were promoting the company's services through creating a TikTok video. Nowadays, TikTok has been one of the ways to boost followers and reach, so why not use the platform?
Doing TikTok and being so active on my social media are not my cup of tea, I'm always laying low. But I just realized that there's nothing wrong with slowly opening your doors again for people to see your world.
SITE VISIT
This time we went to a Subdivision around Talisay, Cebu. Our supervisor/broker had to meet his client and check for the specific LOT they wanted to sell. Me and my co-interns had the privilege to come along with him. It was a nice place, the area was so peaceful. I couldn't take my eyes off the scenery. It's like an ideal place to live for many. To still insert our task as marketers, we made sure to shoot videos for our marketing materials. We will then post it on the company's official page. So, stay tuned!
ANOTHER PKS (PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE SEMINAR)
This time at Cebu Land Masters. Along with the Marketing Staff, we listened to the presentation made by the company's representative. The speaker highlights its new project and everything in between, including the incentives and details.
Look! We were too serious. As the audience, I have nothing to say other than a big WOW. Real Estate Industry had me shocked. But it's also fun and happy to learn every facet of it.
We had the chance to take a photo at the rooftop with the most amazing view. Fun fact, it was too hot when we took the photo. You can see it in our reaction—all smiles despite the scorching heat of the sun. Still it's worth it because we might not have the chance to go back to this place again.
That's what I've got for today, my dear Hivers! I hope you enjoyed reading my blog. Until next time!
