Do you remember when I upped and drove to Brighton spontaneously? Well, I did it again. This time I went to Eastbourne, just to the east of Brighton.
Actually I went to the Seven Sisters Country Park, a place that I have been many times before. I just really love the place. There is a certain energy there.
It was the perfect day for something like this - not too warm and not cold at all. It was overcast so I was never exposed to any direct sunlight. I took my film camera, but the light meter was completely confused by the light. The white clouds and the green-grey colour of the water just threw the light sensors out of whack, making the camera underexpose by several stops.
I know it's not the old camera's fault. The light did the same thing to my iPhone. The photos were going to come out way too dark. I had to intervene and manually compensate to get the proper exposure.
When I got back to the Beachy Head Vintage Inn, where my car was parked, I took some time to enjoy the view over Eastbourne town before descending into it to grab myself some food and much needed beverage.
How was your Sunday?
Peace and Love ✌🏿
