The vaccines sold out very fast. One shot wass 5K and there were 3 shots. The child took the shots at St. Luke's. She is a pupil at STC. No waiver was signed and she had her shots as soon as she turned 9. The family is literally dying from worry and my friend Perry (Jackal Ramirez) will turn heaven and earth for his apo and family. Their pedia is deathly worried and keeps calling her. And there are 700,000 others like her. Waiver or not, their lives are in danger. My friends please share this post to as many friends as you can para naman makamit ang hustisya para sa mga nabiktima. The worry alone should be enough to stir up a storm against those who are responsible.

Once the dengue vaccine was available and my daughter turned 9, she immediately got her shots. Her own pediatrician recommended it and made sure to always contact us once it was in stock. So Psyche just took the third and final one a few months ago at St. Luke's QC.

One shot is 5k.

But she's never gotten dengue before.

So what now? What am I supposed to do? Just wait and pray my daughter NEVER gets dengue lest the symptoms become worse? I mean sure I may have access to better healthcare than those who took the vaccine for free and are now left to their own devices BUT STILL.

So far, I've only been seeing talks of the 700k+ kids who got the vaccine for free in the poorer areas but what about the kids who got vaccinated at the big hospitals for a hefty price? It's the same vaccine. It's like no one wants to admit that they'd made a mistake even if it was well-meaning. And now parents are burdened with the guilt of having endangered our own children.

How am I supposed to carry that?
