New kids come to my school and they all share the same stories of what they have to go through. Without fail, at least ONE of them cries because they have to go home. When I go home from work, I see the same people at the same restaurant eating the same food. They stay until very late.
Seeing the sameness everywhere got me wondering why the suicide rate is high in South Korea. Considering what I witnessed and what i've been told, it comes as no surprise to me.
I'm not going to sit here and say it's a problem because South Korea isn't my country. I have no say as what's right or wrong as a guest here. These are my observations and mines alone.
