The language of ivrit ( עברית ) Genesis 7, DTube Video #1

Welcome to my Hebrew reading & language series.

Continuing with Genesis 7:1-4

This new chapter jumps ahead to a completed ark. I have seen movies produced that were based on the last two hundred Hebrew words, half of chapter six and the start of chapter seven.

The covenant, the plan, the blueprints for the ark, the animals to be brought into it, all detailed in about two hundred words.

Much can be learned by reading what we have read so far. We know that all creatures were to multiply and fill the earth each according to its kind. Cats with cats. Canines with canines. Humans with humans. There is enough genetic diversity within a pair of dogs in order to produce all similar creatures we have today, those being wolves, coyotes, shepherds, dalmatians, etc..

Evolution finds changes of color or size within many breeds of animals, within their kinds, but nothing outside their kind. Reading the Tanakh for yourself, you will see that they misquote these writings in order to criticize the Tanakh and lend authenticity to an outdated theory.

As a side note: Racism would go away quickly if we all looked upon the four men from whom we all came, Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth. The genetic diversity we have in humanity today was contained in the DNA of those four men and their wives.

In the video for today, I give you a quick English reading of these four verses, then we pronounce and repeat each Hebrew word, so please listen in and practice with me.

I will not attempt to resolve the pronunciation of the name YHVH. I do believe we are supposed to know and call upon His Name, especially in the last days. So I respectfully say the name when I see it. Here is an audio file at dsound.audio, which was sent to me by an Israeli Steemian. He did a reading for me, The Name pronounced "Yehovah" clearly as he took five minutes to read an excerpt for me in fluent Hebrew.

Info on each letter starting at the beginning

If you are just starting, my lessons are all here starting at Alef, adding vowels (the dots and lines) as we go, the sofit formations and numerical values. Just go to my blog and scroll to the bottom or click here
