My New and Improved Morning Routine | @justlibby Podcast #043


Hello!

Thanks for swinging by my blog! In today's original @dsound podcast I share my very effective morning routine. Recently, I've been feeling a major shift in my mornings. They used to be quite frantic and haphazard. Now, I have a more disciplined approach. After implementing all of the below activities I've seen major an improvement in my mood and output.

Firstly. I wake up after I know I've had at least 8 hours of sleep. This is crucial for my productivity and calmness throughout the day.

Once I get up I immediately write in my dream journal and diary. I've come to find out how much more of my dreams I remember if I consistently write them down. Next, I jot down some thoughts and ideas in my daily diary.

Then, I push my teeth and drink a glass of lemon water. After refreshing myself from the hours of sleep, I meditate for 15 minutes with the Calm App (calm.com).

Lastly, with my Calm App still open I change songs to my favorite tranquil mix and slowly wake up my body with a meditative yoga practice. I typically allow the song to repeat twice which totals about 40 minutes of stretches, bending, and rotating. Honestly, this app is such a game changer for me!

After all of this, I make myself a lemon, ginger, apple cider vinegar, and cinnamon hot water. I absolutely love this beverage. It's full of so much goodness and tastes damn good!

Now, its time for me to begin work. I typically break my fast of 16 hours by eating a chia pudding that I make the night before!
