I would give it to Flash based on the innovation of the mixer as well as his contribution to the block party days and into commercial rap days. Bam did both as well... but the furious 5 have way more clout than Soul Sonic Force IMO. Kool Herc gets a nod too for starting the whole thing with mixing breaks.
