Y'all know I like dogs and I like to walk, preferably in the combination of those two with water and mountains around it. But with my current doggo status (or better said: not having one) this sometimes is a bit challenging I sometimes need to drag myself ut of the house for a hike, while with a dog you are obliging yourself to do this.
So when I had some friends visiting from up North I finally had the chance again to get back to a routine with hiking with purpose. Awesome conversations about life along the way and mister Loonie got his water quotum for the day.
We went to walk around the Lungernsee, my absolute favorite not to difficult but always a fine hike. In general when I take the train to there I am accompanied by a lot of Asian people who are all on their way to Interlaken, but never decide to step out in Lugern as well. Their fail, not mine ;)
Mister Loonie is a Toller (a dog race) which is known for its endurance and the love for swimming. Boy, did I have a chance to see that. Throwing in sticks in to the water and him fethcing them was a game that lasted for hours. He didn't seem to be bothered at all that the water was only 19 degrees Celsius at the moment, maybe it was even good to cool him off for a bit because of the current Summer temperatures.
I am not ready to hit the water as yet, although I am going sailing later int he week, but hopefully I will not end up in the water then...but who knows
