According to the observations of the early ticker tape readers such as Wyckoff and later Weis, yes, volume can be used for this end. And, when observed in waves of volume, it can reveal the force of the supply or demand and when that force is weakening. With this in mind, I do like the look of the Hoffman Line in Bitcoin and it's apparent support/buying. Very encouraging!
