Wilfried Bony: Another Case of "From Grace to Where?"

Shared From Dlike

It is not so strange anymore when top football players make ghastly and terrible transfer decisions; such as leaving a stable club where you are King and chasing after a club where you hope to be a GOD.

Lots of top, talented football players have made such terrible transfer decisions that ended up impacting negatively on their careers and in most cases, ruined their fabulous football careers.

The names of such players are so long and endless; but some popular ones that come to mind include; Ibrahim Afellay, Aleix Vidal, Ahmed Musa, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Fernando Morientes, Arda Turan, Ahmed Musa, Alexander Hleb, Kelechi Iheanacho, Eliaquim Mangala, Alex Song, Wesley Sneijder, etc.

At the moment, the League Two club, Newport County have a special guest in training, ex-Manchester City and Swansea City striker Wilfried Bony who is just 30-years of age.

Bony was one of the top African stirkers in the Premier League after the era of Didier Drogba at Chelsea. But a hasty and somewhat ambitious move from Swansea City where he was a star, to join Manchester City became the beginning of the end for him in the Premier League.

He failed to sparkle at City and following loan spells and a rather drop in performance levels and lack of his once super-confidence as a striker, Bony is now clubless after being released by Swansea.
