Many people nowadays do a ketogenic diet to lose weight. This is a special dietary plan, where low in sugar but high in fat. Some types of ketogenic diet

• Cyclic Diet: It adds less sugar five days a week and more sugar the other two days.

• Target Diet: Similar to the standard ketogenic diet. However, sugars are added to the diet according to the type and amount of physical work done.

• Hyprotein Diet: This method contains about 5 percent fat, 5 percent protein and 5 percent sugar.

This diet plan can be especially helpful for diabetics as they reduce the amount of sugar in the body

Foods that need to be avoided

Sugar and any foods made with sugar in the ketogenic diet should be excluded from the diet. High-sugar foods, such as rice, pasta, noodles, and sugary vegetables, such as potatoes, sweet potatoes, carrots, should not be on the diet.

Foods to eat

Animals and any food made from this dish, eggs, butter, cream, cheese, yogurt, fish, vegetables that are low in sugars, such as garlic, cauliflower, broccoli, red-greens, etc. Nuts and seeds of various fruits. Oil, such as olive oil, is sunflower oil. Fruits have to eat olives, avocado, strawberries, lemons.

Warning: It is not advisable to take the ketogenic diet too long. Balanced eating is the best way. Before following any other special diet plan, you should seek expert advice.
