ISSUAA Alpha is now live

With today´s testchain launch of the ISSUAA protocol, users are invited to make themselves comfortable with and to actively test the functionality of the ISSUAA marketplace as well as to join and participate in the ISSUAA community.

Starting on the Ropsten testchain, everybody is invited and can get access to the ISSUAA protocol alpha version and to join ISSUAA, the next generation DeF protocol for derivatives of real world and crypto assets on chain, and help building and expanding the ISSUAA community.
Testing, bug hunting and active participation in the ISSUAA social media channels and community is free and accessible for everybody. Besides giving users the opportunity to get used to and test the ISSUAA ecosystem and its functionality prior to the mainnet launch, participation will be rewarded with the distribution of up to 5% (i. e. up to 5 m) of the ISSUAA protocol tokens (IPT) to participants. This is planned once the alpha testing phase of the ISSUAA protocol is finished and the mainnet launch has taken place.
To earn testing and community building rewards, the following guidelines were set up:
The intention is to reward users that are actually testing the protocol. Thus, on-chain data will be used to derive those addresses that have really tested the protocol. As stated before, the Alpha launch will be on a testchain, your testing efforts will thus be free of any capital commitment and gas fees. We do not want your money — but we want you to commit time to test and share your findings.
Also, it is planned to reward users — not addresses. To avoid users using multiple addresses or writing bots to simulate real testing, you are kindly asked to link a twitter profile or discord profile to an address. How to do this?
Simply write a short post, which includes the hashtag #issuaa, your address and state that you have been testing the ISSUAA protocol.
Alternatively you can also share your address in our Discord channel or by writing a DM to stockmaster0x or bullseye_0x if you do not want to publicly disclose your address.

How will users be rewarded?

It can be expected that very different levels of testing and community building efforts by different users will be seen. It is thus foreseen to use a three tier system with different reward levels:
Tier 3 users will receive a base amount of ISSUAA Protocol Token (IPT). Users in this tier have tested the system thoroughly and provided some basic feedback to ISSUAA and its community.

Tier 2 users shall receive 5x the base amount of IPT. Besides actively testing the system, users in this tier might have gone a little further to help improve the ISSUAA protocol and to grow its community. Such activities could be :

  • reporting some smaller bugs
  • active participation in the community
  • supporting the growth of the community by promoting it in social media

Tier 1 users will receive the largest rewards, ranging between 20x to >100x the base amount. Users in Tier 1 should be users which have added high value to the ISSUAA protocol and its community, for example by

  • finding and reporting critical vulnerabilities in the code base
  • becoming a highly active community member,
  • helping new users with on-boarding etc.
  • helping to spread the word by writing own articles or
  • producing other media content about ISSUAA, which becomes visible to a large audience or viewer base providing other services to the ISSUAA protocol, which help us grow and develop.

How large is the base amount of IPT that will be rewarded to users?

The base amount can only be defined once the testing and early community building phase has come to an end. As stated previously, earl testers and community builders will reward up to 5% of the total IPT supply. However, the amount per users depends on the activity during this phase.

Distributing a base amount of 1,000 IPT tokens for tier 3 users is foreseen. This would be enough for more than 1,500 users in tier 3, >300 users in tier 2 and a handful of users in tier 1. The actual number will however only be defined at the end of the alpha testing phase.

After four years of thinking, conceptualising and finally building the protocol, ISSUAA is finally at the point to be released. You are welcome to become an ISSUAAN and a valuable member of the ISSUAA community — at the earliest possible moment.
