Image Search in HIVE

There hasn't been any information about Hive Discover for a long time because we have been working on something big. It's still a prototype and doesn't have all the posts yet, but it still has it's potential.

In addition to the conventional text analysis for the content recommendation algorithm, all images of a post are now also analysed. With the help of neural networks, we can now convert images to text and text to images and thus realise an image search engine. You can test it at https://next.hive-discover.tech/search/images

Please note that this is only a prototype and not all posts / images are available yet (not even the last few weeks have been fully analysed) and yet we already have well over 250k images...

Even texts in pictures are recognised correctly. Example search for "splinterlands"

In addition to the introduction of the image search, the recommandation system has also been further improved. The main change is that all collected data is now completely encrypted and only when you want to have posts suggested to you, they are decrypted for that one moment. However, for this we need a private account key from you. We have decided to use the memo key because it has the fewest permissions and is sufficient for decrypting/encrypting the data. It is therefore required for logging in and is only stored in the browser.
The advantage of this system is that your personal data is not traceable. We, but also no third parties, cannot misuse this data and become like Facebook, for example. We will explain in detail and transparently how the data encryption/decryption works in the near future.
Please note that this is only a prototype and therefore the latencies are sometimes enormous - it will get better in the future!

Questions / suggestions / thoughts about Hive Discover are welcome in the comments.
