Yesterday, I bought a mix of fresh seafood and I decided to use them as pasta sauce. The result was delicious, so here's the recipe.
Ingredients (for 3 people)
- 200 g linguine (or spaghetti)
- 100 g fresh mussels
- 120 g of clams
- 100 g ring shrimps
- tomato sauce
- 2 garlic cloves
- chili pepper powder
- olive oil
- basil
Directions
- Fill a sauce pan with water and heat it until it reaches boil, then add the linguine and let it cook for a couple of minutes less than what's written on the packaging.
- In the meantime, put two garlic cloves with some oil in a saucepan, cook it for a couple of minutes, then add the tomato sauce.
- When the sauce is hot, add the mussels, clams and shrimps and let it cook for around 15 minutes, adding some chili pepper powder at the end.
- Then add the pasta to the seafood sauce together with 2 cooking water spoons and stir-fry for a couple of minutes before serving. Add some fresh basil at the end.
