Ehlo.
(If you know what "Ehlo" means, you might have been a computer nerd in the 80s.)
Photo: Little creek under our kitchen window.
We saw a couple of interesting birds today. Although they were quite a long way from us. And behind a window too. So, I had to crop... a lot. But two of these were birds you don't commonly get to see up close anyway, so I guess that partially makes up for the crappy quality. Heh.
I wonder if you are familiar with these birds.
The first one is a common enough bird though.
Hooded crow // Corvus corone corvix
The second one...
Eurasian siskin // Spinus spinus (syn. Carduelis spinus)
...more commonly known the green cannonball...
Eurasian siskin // Spinus spinus (syn. Carduelis spinus)
...just kidding...
Eurasian siskin // Spinus spinus (syn. Carduelis spinus)
Eurasian siskin // Spinus spinus (syn. Carduelis spinus)
And a Eurasian blue tit.
Eurasian blue tit // Cyanistes caeruleus (syn. Parus caeruleus)
I'm a bit saddened they were so far, but it's still cool we were able to identify them from the photos.
I'll be posting more photos tomorrow. See ya then!
