How It Works
Algebraix is a “permission based advertising platform” based out of Austin, Texas. Marketers, from large brands to television shows, add video ads to the ALX platform, determine what audience they want to reach, and set a budget for their campaign.
Users on Algebraix share basic information about their location, salary, and other demographics, and then are shown relevant ads, all with a different amount of coins they can earn for watching. As soon as the video ends, the user receives that number of coins to their account. The coins accumulate and are not immediately available for withdrawal.
Project Potential
The ALX platform is live and running, and the company is also creating a network that will allow their ads to be placed outside of their website. With no shortage of video ads being created and spread through digital channels, the market is gigantic. In 2018, an estimated $15.42B will be spent on video adds, and that number is expected to reach $22.18B by 2021. My Review
Signing up for an airdrop months ago, I was not that impressed with the overall idea. Sure, I want to be paid for being forced to watch adds, but would any incentive convince me to spend my own time watching them? The answer turns out to be yes, and I’ve been impressed with Algebraix.
The interface is attractive, the experience on their platform has run smoothly, and the quality of ads is extremely high. I’ve watched movie and television show previews, ads for personal care products, and even commercials about retirement packages. The ads have all been at least somewhat entertaining, and I am racking up a nice little stash of ALX tokens (over 26,000 currently).
