The blockchain project Diana, which was founded on July 19, just one day before the 50th anniversary of the landing of a man on the moon, launched a registry in which he marked and plans to tokenize the surface of the moon.
“The goal of the Diana project is to clearly define the possible rights of mankind to the moon, given the increased likelihood of disputes over property rights. This will be done through collective registration, ”the project representatives stressed.
Note that the second article from the UN treaty is cited in the White Book of the project: “Outer space, including the Moon and other celestial bodies, is not subject to national appropriation by declaring sovereignty, use, occupation or any other means”.
It is planned that the surface of the moon will be tokenized - the release of 3.8 billion tokens of the ERC-20 standard on the ethereum blockchain will help to circumvent the concept of private property and allow exploiting the resources of the moon.
The project will issue two types of tokens: DIA tokens, which represent the lunar surface tokens, and MOND tokens, fully secured by the US dollar, which will be used for transactions.
