Career training already has a small section of the American educational system,. With campuses around the nation from a multitude of different schools and different career fields. These are usually bought a paid for through loans made by the government and traditional vampire banks that will bleed you dry, well into mid life for most .So my thought would no on today's topic. American public high school barely teaches most of these kids how to read and write or use math beyond the ability to fill out an application in the fast food industry. If they really wanted to prepare these kids for the world, they would teach these kids how to think for themselves and how do simple everyday mundane tasks like filling out a financial ledger, or sew and clean there clothes or maybe how to cook their own food. Beyond the bastardized curriculum they should prepare the kids to be able to take care of themselves without having to depend on parents or handouts . Teach them to think for themselves and give them a equal educational chance for entry into a good university where they can learn all the skills they will need for a chosen career.I apologize for the mini rant.
