It works.
My curiosity over the success of this neat little trick led me to studying cybernetics in relation to self-improvement.
Cybernetics is a field of study that deals with the interaction and control of systems, particularly complex systems. It explores how information flows, feedback loops, and control mechanisms can be used to regulate and manage various systems, including human behaviors and thought processes.
As a futurist specializing in the intersection of human potential, innovation, emerging technology, & societal trends as fuel for personal, business, & societal transformative acceleration ~ this is my jam.
Specifically, the application of cybernetic principles to understand and improve the functioning of our minds and achieve desired outcomes.
🌐🧠 FIVE WAYS TO UTILIZE CYBERNETIC PRINCIPLES TO SHAPE YOUR REALITY 🌐🧠
1️⃣ Self-Image: Your self-image shapes your thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and overall success in life, as it is the foundation upon which actions are taken and achievements are built. Do whatever you must to develop a positive self-image.
Tip: look the part, competently play the role, & uphold your commitments (including ones you make to yourself).
2️⃣ Mental processing: Our mind operates through predictions based on qualitative experiences from our past. While our subconscious mind is like an iCloud, holding & recalling information, beliefs, & memories based on emotions, images, & self-talk. All of which influence self-image, actions, and success.
Tip: Utilize things like hypnosis, subliminal audios, EFT, frequency work, etc.
3️⃣ Goal setting & evaluation: Setting clear and specific goals is paramount in achieving success. A pinnacle of cybernetics is the importance of defining objectives, breaking them down into manageable steps, and evaluating progress and results in order to identify areas of improvement & adjust strategies accordingly.
Tip: Define your desired outcomes, map a strategy, & evaluate results. Arrows don’t hit blurry targets.
4️⃣ Visualization and imagination: Vividly visualizing desired outcomes and consistently reaffirming them in your mind creates a mental blueprint for success and increases likelihood of achieving desired outcomes & goals.
Tip: Visualize & affirm your desired outcomes. Create a vision board, write & record affirmations, etc.
5️⃣ Attitude and Mindset: Cultivation of a positive attitude and mindset has a tremendous impact on overcoming psychological barriers, increasing chances of success, and essentially unleashing of your full potential.
Tips: Embrace optimism, express gratitude, and actively choose positive thoughts.
