Back To Misery

I finally had a chance to catch up on Misery by purchasing the last few issues at Conquest Comics and visiting with @blewitt . I really loved the first issue and Cult Of Carnage: Misery #2 only enhanced my love for this storyline. Besides, Francesco Mortarino's artwork presents Liz Allan in an easy-on-the-eyes fashion. Skan's cover drawing even elevates Mortarino's rendition. The story by Sabir Pirzada makes you care and relate to the characters.

The flashbacks with a pregnant Allan and hubby Harry Osborn, as well as her romantic relationship with Zafar, ensure a real connection between the characters and the reader. While Corwin Jones stole most of the symbiotes from Alchemax, the two that he didn't get have latched on to Allan. Keeping this situation from the kids, Normie and Stanley, appears to be a major challenge.

Meanwhile, Carlton Drake, the CEO of the Life Foundation is using the stolen symbiotes to design a very powerful suit that will allow these symbiotes to reach their full potential. Misery needs to track down Jones before this situation really gets out of hand. A major battle appears to be on the horizon, but Drake doesn't want any harm to come to her!
