I featured ampalaya or bitter gourd because of it's color and the benefits that we can get from this vegetable.
Ampalaya leaves and fruits are excellent source of vit.B , iron, calcium and phosphorous. It is also rich in betacarotene. It is used as herbal treatment for diabetes, parasitacides, antipyretic, and purgatives.
