I have always considered ART as a perfect medium. The one which can say more than any words can say. Therefore, I try to use Art to illustrate topics which are great importance to me personally and to the World at large. I couldnโt ignore @everlove's calling to join and play Collaborative Art Journey..."TAKE ACTION" No. 34 with such a great theme: Take Action.
When you think of the theme - it is so beautiful. I guess it is broad enough to trigger a lot of ideas as well as the initial photo @everlove shared as an offering. It led me to my own journey where I got lost for several days trying to find the way I wanted to represent this topic. I believe that came out is a pure result of Collaboration in action - when one makes a first step and the other continues. At the same time, a result of this collaboration is something that can affect more people. At least, I hope it will. As always I really want to thank @evelove for giving me a chance to get to new dimensions and try something I have never done before.
I love reading how the other authors create their works for Collaborative Art Journeys and therefore I try to give some details about my process whenever I can. It is really hard to tell how you get the idea to create something sometimes. This one was easy. When I saw an offering - a photo suggested by @everlove and the theme, the concept just flashed into my mind. Here is the original offering by @everlove.
I wanted to make it meaningful and my recent concerns are all about the Earth and the harm people make to it. I believe my continuous travels just more and more reveal that it is entirely a GLOBAL problem, not just the local one. Thus, I thought if I make Earth on my image dissolve it would make represent what we really do to the planet. At the same time, I was really fascinated if I can also โplay it backwardโ as a symbol of HOPE that we still can TAKE ACTION and change it.
All my life I have been looking on the way our world created as something magical. I thought how dolphins have sonars to be able to choose directions. I wondered why elephant has a big trunk and who thought they would need it? I got fascinated by colorful fish I would see. For me, all of this was created by a True Artist. I would always stress that most beautiful things that were ever created, were created before Man - by nature and its forces.
With the advent of man, much has changed. For many centuries we have been making a lot of harm to Nature and Earth. Yet, in the recent years, it became one of the questions of entire Planet survival. A mankind created the situation the Planet not yet faced and we continue to do a lot of things to make it even worse.
Yet, we all know it - we can do things differently. There is an are increasing number of people who not only speak but act consciously. They are the triggers who start TAKing ACTIONs.
No matter if we understand it or not, a simple truth does exist: the Earth is so far our ONLY home. Let's leave politicians and governments to find out who has more power or has more control, and concentrate on a simple thing - making small efforts to the BETTER EARTH.
I support @ecotrain project, which also use #ecotrain. I want to believe that more and more people will start to think about things that help to make the world a better place. (ั)@ecotrain. I also hope that more and more writers on Steemit will support the movement started by @eco-alex and @icmultitudes . As I truly believe that we are one and helping others means you are helping yourself.
