This is the first Morgan Dollar die that was struck at the Philadelphia Mint in 1878. It is identifiable by the comma feather just under the wing often confused with the Vam 14.1 This was one of my rarest finds its graded in a NGC Holder as MS61. For those of you who don't yet understand the Grading system The MS stands for Mint state and the highest grade a coin can receive is MS70 or PR70 which stands for proof. If you would Like to learn more about morgan dollar errors or vams I suggest taking a look at Vamworld.com
