In Tokyo, the most famous seafood and sushi market place is Tsukiji Market. I believed that most tourist had went there before. The Tsukiji Market is divided to internal and external market. The fish and hot dish are everywhere in that area. The top two sushi restaurants “Sushi Dai” and “Daiwa Sushi”. I would like to introduce you the “Sushidai” this time.

在東京想吃新鮮美味的海鮮,築地市場這個名字大家一定不會陌生,相信很多到東京遊玩的朋友也去吃過了。築地市場區分為場內和場外市場,到處海鮮和熟食的食店,要數到最著名的就非壽司大和大和壽司莫屬,這兩間位於場內市場的超級人氣店,可謂一時喻亮。這天要介紹的是壽司大。

在东京想吃新鲜美味的海鲜,筑地市场这个名字大家一定不会陌生,相信很多到东京游玩的朋友也去吃过了。筑地市场区分为场内和场外市场,到处海鲜和熟食的食店,要数到最著名的就非寿司大和大和寿司莫属,这两间位于场内市场的超级人气店,可谓一时喻亮。这天要介绍的是寿司大。

Although Japanese Government decided to move Tsukiji Market to Toyosu in 2016, the date was postponed due to the underground drainage problem of Tokyo. Nowadays, Sushi Dai is still operating. Tourists and guests still have chance to visit it up to now.

雖然日本政府近年早已經定下把築地場內市場搬遷至豐州,但是基於污水處理問題一直延遲,這樣也令到還沒有去壽司大的食客有機會一嚐美味壽司的心願。

Since distribution of word of mouth on internet and media, Sushi Dai attracted different guests from worldwide. In the past, guest can still get in the restaurant when he or she arrived around 9:00 am. Nowadays, guest need to queue up before 4:00 am, otherwise, the queue was cut at 9:00 am. Moreover, there is always around fifty guest waiting near the restaurant. Why is Sushi Dai so popular? ”Taste good or not? Let’s explode your stomach with Goodboy Philip!”

自從互聯網越來越發達,資訊越來越流通,壽司大的名聲傳到世界每一個角落,無論是香港中國台灣,以至西方各國不同種類的人也慕名而來。曾幾何時壽司大只需要在門前排隊,現在已經排到小路旁。更恐怖的是,當年即使早上九點到達,十一點前可以吃完出來,現在要天還沒有亮,據最近食客報告清晨四點前已經要開始排隊,天亮後九點前就要截龍了,長期有五十人在店前排隊,究竟他有什麼過人之處呢?「好不好吃?跟好孩子PHILIP 爆食下去!」

自从互联网越来越发达,资讯越来越流通,寿司大的名声传到世界每一个角落,无论是香港中国台湾,以至西方各国不同种类的人也慕名而来。曾几何时寿司大只需要在门前排队,现在已经排到小路旁。更恐怖的是,当年即使早上九点到达,十一点前可以吃完出来,现在要天还没有亮,据最近食客报告清晨四点前已经要开始排队,天亮后九点前就要截龙了,长期有五十人在店前排队,究竟他有什么过人之处呢?「好不好吃?跟好孩子PHILIP 爆食下去!」

Up to now, I had eaten Sushi Dai for five times. The fastest and slowest queuing time were thirty five minutes and three hours respectively. Although it took so much time to wait, I left the restaurant with pleasant smile every time. I remembered that once a upon a time I went there directly after landed Tokyo from airport. It was raining. The elder woman proactively helped me to keep the big luggage in the store. The most convenient method to go to Sushi Dai is by Toei ōedo line to Tsukiji Station, exit from A1.

About ordering food, guest could simply let the chef to decide, as “Omakase Set” 「おまかせセット(4000円)」. The chef decides the best quality of the day or the season of the fish for you. The “Omakase Set” includes 13 pieces of food and sushi. For the last one, you can freely select any sushi you like. Let’s look at what I ate on that date?

The first sushi was the surpreme of sushi: O-Toro Fatty Tuna. No matter in high class sushi house or common sushi restaurant, O-Toro is the expensive sushi because the fatty and half melt meat. It is absolutely one of the best food in the world!

Second one was Alfonsino. Ten years before, I had no idea what Alfonsino was. However, after tasting the first piece of Alfonsino in Sushi Dai, I loved this fish afterwards. Thanks Sushi Dai!

Third one was flat fish. This white meat fish taste pure. I didn’t pour sauce and felt its freshness directly.

Fourth one was Uni, sea urchin. No need to explain! It tasted sweet and fresh without stink!

The fifth one was Maguro, Tuna.

The sixth was Hokkikai, Hockey shellfish. Chef held it and beat it! And then the shellfish sashimi was moving in front of you. So fresh!!!

The seventh one was mackerel. The chef was detail minded all the time and told you the name of the sushi. Moreover, he would only make next sushi for you after you finished the sushi according your pace.

The eighth was small sushi roll that was tuna and shell fish inside.

The miso soup was served and the second half of sushi came.

The tenth was Aji. It was with fish skin that the fishy smell was eliminated by the ginger.

The twelve one was conger. The chef picked the little soft bone gently. I could eat and swallow it without hesitation.

And finally, I could select any sushi to finish this “Omakase Set”. No doubt, I selected the O-Toro. It was the most delicious one! I had one reminder for you. You can still order A la Carte if you were not full. Big scallop was my favorite choice!

Sushi Dai never disappointed me. Not only the fresh and taste of the sushi, but also the excellent services provided by the chef and staff. Every time they gave you the sushi, they inform you the name of sushi, by your language. They could talked via simple Cantonese. Moreover, they made sushi for you referring to your eating speed. One more thing was that the top chef, Mr. Urushihara could recognize the old guest, even after few years. Overall, it always has a reason why Sushi Dai is the surpreme of the Tsukiji Market!

壽司大每一次也沒有令我失望,除了壽司新鮮和好吃,料理人對食客的親切態度是最令人滿意的。他們給你壽司的時候,會細心講解壽司是什麼,是以簡單中文啊!而且看着你吃壽司的速度而給你壽司,非常貼心!而店長漆原先生更厲害,他會認得來過的客人!不是說笑,我隔了很久再去,他仍然會認得你的。壽司既美味,料理人服務親切,築地市場的王者當之無愧!
